In the framework of the program “Be Active” and the European Sports Week which takes place from 23rd to 30th of September, was found the team of Radisson Blu International Marathon of Larnaka alongside with the Municipality of Larnaka at the Evryaviade Gymnasium, for an informative meeting where they introduced to the students the concept of the Marathon as a sport.
Two of the Ambassadors of the Marathon, Mrs. Andri Avraam and Mrs. Chrysa Goutenoudi have made a brief speech about the history and the evolution of the Marathon. They have talked about their personal stories and experiences they have achieved through many years of sports career. On behalf of the Municipality of Larnaca, Mrs. Yianna Nikolaou spoke to the children about the values of noble competition, healthy competition and fair play.
