The Organizing Committee of the Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon, taking into consideration the weight of the responsibility it carries together with the newest rules and regulations by the Ministry of Health and the unprecedented moments that we are going through in the midst of a global pandemic, announces:

1. The postponement of the 4th Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon for the next calendar year, on Sunday, the 21st of November 2021.

2. The organization of a symbolic torch relay to support the doctors and nurses that are fighting the good fight against COVID-19, on Sunday 15th November 2020, on the date that the 4th Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon was originally scheduled to take place.

3. The donation to support those fighting against COVID-19 in cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaka and the Ministry of Health.

4. All those that have registered for the race that was to take place on the 15th November 2020, can choose one of the following options:
a. Defer their registration for the race to take place on 21 st November 2021
b. A full refund of the registration fee.

The Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon Organizing Committee wishes to stress that despite the epidemiological situation in Cyprus is better than other countries, it wouldn’t want for anyone of the tens of thousands of athletes and fans to contract the virus in the biggest mass sporting event in Cyprus.
